Qilu’s Visit to Canada Opened a New Chapter in International Exchange and Cooperation

A delegation from Qilu Normal University led by the Vice President Zhang Fujian paid a visit to Concordia University of Edmonton in Canada from September 27 to October 1, 2016. The two universities attended a panel on Reform and Innovation in Education, had a deep discussion on specific issues of their partnership and signed the AGREEMENT ON THE CENTRE FOR CHINESE TEACHER DEVELOPMENT AT CONDORDIA UNIVERSITY OF EDMONTON

The delegation also attended Concordia’s ceremony of the Centre for Chinese Studies and Chinese Teacher Development, celebrating the launching together with distinguished guests from the Chinese government, Hanban (the Office of Chinese Language Council International, affiliated with the Chinese Ministry of Education), Confucius Institute in Edmonton, Alberta government representatives, Edmonton city officials and local dignitaries.
